The project: A comparison of spiritual crisis for experiences who have, and have not, had contact with mental health systems.
Project overview: This project is interested in understanding the experiences of spiritual crisis, and how you and the people around you made sense of this. We will be speaking to people who have had contact with mental health systems because of this experience, and with people who have not had any contact with mental health systems.
It is hoped that this research will contribute to a greater understanding about these types of experiences, and to equip mental health practitioners who may be interacting with people experiencing spiritual emergencies with greater awareness, knowledge and compassion.
